Mission

To introduce students to Information Science and provide support in their professional development.

Making Space in the Tech Sphere

The Official Association for Students in Information Science (OASIS) was the first academic organization for Information Science Students at Pitt and still is the only one to support the Information Science community as a whole.

We hold events for all students regardless of major to explore disciplines in Information Science such as Analytics, User Experience, Cybersecurity, and Product Management. We also hold social events for students to connect and bond.
